Chelsea Clinton tells reporter to keep Barron Trump out of 'jokes and analyses'
Amid speculation over potential candidates for the next White House chief of staff, former first daughter Chelsea Clinton told a journalist to keep President Trump’s youngest son, 12-year-old Barron Trump, out of “jokes and analyses.”
She did so via Twitter and in response to Jonathan Chait of New York Magazine, who tweeted on Monday: “My darkhorse chief of staff pick: Barron Trump 1. Looks like Trump 2. Will not make Trump work 3. Cannot be tried as an adult.”

Clinton shot back: “Please leave Barron Trump out of ‘jokes’ & analyses. He’s a kid and private citizen and deserves to be left alone. Thank you.”

“This is not a joke about Barron Trump,” Chait stated in his reaction to Clinton’s tweet. “It is a joke about Donald Trump.”
This isn’t the first time she’s come to Barron’s defense.
“It’s high time the media & everyone leave Barron Trump alone & let him have the private childhood he deserves,” she tweeted in August of last year.
