Trump announces William Barr as attorney general nominee

President Donald Trump confirmed Friday that he plans to nominate William Barr as attorney general, after pushing out Jeff Sessions last month.

Trump initially replaced Sessions with acting attorney general Matthew Whittaker, whose appointment came under scrutiny.
