Trump says his presidency so far makes him 'far greater than Ronald Reagan'

President Trump has talked a lot about Ronald Reagan, comparing himself to the former president on numerous occasions on the campaign trail.

Now, according to a new book, Trump says his presidency so far makes him “far greater than Ronald Reagan.”

He spoke to his former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and his deputy David Bossie for their book, “Trump’s Enemies: How the Deep State is Undermining the Presidency.”

Trump reportedly also talked about conservative media and their treatment of him, “The amazing thing is that you have certain people who are conservative Republicans that -- if my name weren’t Trump, if it were John Smith, they would say I’m the greatest president in history and I blow Ronald Reagan away.”

Trump also continued his attacks on the media saying 85 percent is totally corrupt, focusing on his White House’s problems and not paying enough attention to its successes.

This comes after the president in a tweet suggested that the U.S. government compete with CNN, writing, “Something has to be done, including the possibility of the United States starting our own Worldwide Network to show the World the way we really are, GREAT!”
