Le'Veon Bell stokes free agency rumors by sending more eyes on Instagram
Le’Veon Bell has the eyes emoji for one team and he’s again breaking it out.
The running back commented on an NFL Instagram post Tuesday that showed Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck’s game-by-game statistics. He has eight consecutive games of three or more passing touchdowns, prompting the NFL’s account to comment on his stellar performance.
Bell’s response: “Just imagine” with three sets of eyes.
Fans rushed to Bell’s Instagram account begging him to sign with Indianapolis this offseason. Marlon Mack, Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins, the Colts’ top three running backs, are all in their first or second years. The team is 18th in rushing yards at 112.9 a game.
Indianapolis has the most projected salary-cap space in the league at approximately $123 million and are a reasonable landing spot for the soon-to-be free agent. Bell threw eyes at the team in August before the will-he, won’t-he saga of 2018 that ended with him sitting out the season following a contract dispute.
