Photos of the week: 11/16 - 11/23

A gunman opened fire at a Chicago hospital this week before killing himself. The gunman, Juan Lopez, fatally shot his ex-fiancee outside Mercy Hospital on the city's South Side before killing two people inside the building. The victims were Dr. Tamara O'Neal, Chicago police officer Samuel Jimenez and Dayna Less, a first-year pharmacy resident. Dr. O'Neal had recently called off her engagement to the suspect.

Other major headlines of the week included an E. coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce, President Trump standing by Saudi Arabia amid the investigation into journalist Jamal Khashoggi's murder and Chris Watts being sentenced to life in prison for murdering his pregnant wife, two daughters.
