Newlyweds die in helicopter crash leaving their wedding

Friends and family are still in shock after a Texas couple was reportedly killed in a helicopter crash just hours after they got married.

Fox News reports that Will Byler and Bailee Ackerman had a fairytale wedding on a family ranch.

They flew off in a family helicopter and crashed into a hill. The couple was killed as well as the pilot, Fox News reports.

According to the San Antonio Express-News, authorities discovered the helicopter 80 miles from San Antonio near a state highway.

The NTSB is investigating the crash.

Fox News also reports that family and friends are expressing their condolences on social media.

The maid of honor reportedly wrote, "My sweet Bailee Raye, my heart is broken in a million little pieces as I sit here and think of the rest of my life without my best friend.”

Both Will and Bailee were seniors at Sam Houston State University, according to the student newspaper The Houstonian.
