President Donald Trump says he'd be 'very happy' to run against Hillary Clinton in 2020
In an interview on Fox News, host Laura Ingraham pressed the President about his preferred 2020 opponent.
"Who’s your dream person to run against in 2020?" the host asked.
"So far I like them all. Hillary’s apparently not down and out. I like her too, I’d be very happy with Hillary, I don’t see anybody that I wouldn’t enjoy running against," the president responded.
Clinton has been floating a possible 2020 run in the past few days, telling Recode reporter Kara Swisher at a summit sponsored by The American Mirror, "I want to be President."
However, one senior adviser says she's "more likely to win Powerball," and another said flatly, "She’s not running. I think it would be pretty clear if she was."
If Hillary throws her hat in the ring — again — for 2020, she joins a deep bench of possible contenders like Michael Avenatti, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker and Kamala Harris.
