The US Air Force accidentally dropped a Humvee down onto a neighborhood

A Humvee gently floated down to North Carolina after an Air Force C-17 prematurely dropped the vehicle.

WTVD says the Humvee landed in the town of Cameron and that there were no injuries reported on the ground.

And apparently landed in a wooded area between two houses, about 7 miles north of Fort Bragg.

The drop occurred miles from its intended target during a test conducted by soldiers from the Airborne and Special Operations test Directorate.

Fort Bragg spokesman, Tom McCullum said, “Everything went as planned except for the early release.”

He also said that the incident is under investigation.
