Anthony Scaramucci says Trump confronted these two senior staffers on leaks

Anthony Scaramucci, who held the White House communications director position for less than 2 weeks, says members of Trump’s staff were out to get him before he even started.

Scaramucci claims Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon planted news to try to discredit him, allegedly saying he used his relationship with the president to inflate the price of his company, Skybridge.

Scaramucci also said that during a meeting when he was present, Trump confronted Priebus and Bannon and said they were two of the “biggest leakers” he knew, warning them to back off.

Those details are from Scaramucci’s new book, “Trump, The Blue-collar President,” which dives into how Trump won the presidency by appealing to blue-collar Americans.

In the book, Scaramucci also talks about his relationship with Trump and gives his side of the story on his brief time in the White House. Scaramucci’s mission seemed to be stopping staffers from leaking information to the press.

It was the profane-laced comment that Scaramucci made in reference to Priebus and Bannon in an on-the-record interview with The New Yorker that ended his stint in the White House.
