Trump touts 50 percent approval rating, says he's 'working hard'

President Trump on Thursday touted his recent approval rating from conservative-leaning Rasmussen Reports. 

He wrote on Twitter, “Working hard, thank you!” and shared an image highlighting his 50% figure. 

Rasmussen conducts presidential tracking polls daily, and the rating cited by Trump was reported on Thursday. 

Of the 50% who said they approve of the job the president is doing, 37% indicated they felt strongly about their response. 

49% expressed disapproval, with 40% of them indicating strong disapproval.
