Hornets G Malik Monk forgets to put on jersey for professional basketball game
Second-year Charlotte Hornets guard Malik Monk has yet to make his mark on the NBA.
That may not be a problem after Tuesday, whether he likes it or not.
Malik Monk not quite ready for prime time
Monk suited up for the Hornets’ preseason game against the Miami Heat.
Well … kind of.
He forgot one critical element.

When he took off his warmups at the scorer’s table, Monk realized he wasn’t wearing a jersey.
D’oh!
Monk has the athleticism and shooting touch to develop into an exciting NBA guard. He’s also running the risk of developing a reputation as a knucklehead.
