Elizabeth Thomas says Tennessee teacher accused of kidnapping her kissed her in his classroom, said she'd 'look pretty nice naked'

A teenage girl who was allegedly kidnapped by her Tennessee high school teacher last year says the man once grabbed her face and kissed her while they were alone in his classroom.

Elizabeth Thomas — who was 15 when she was allegedly abducted by Tad Cummins in March 2017 — shares her story on the upcoming episode of ABC’s “20/20” in what is her first TV interview since she was found in April, more than a month after going missing.

In a preview clip released Wednesday, Thomas recalls the teacher allegedly making an inappropriate comment while she was sitting on top of a desk alone with him in his classroom.

“The next thing I know, he said, ‘You'd look pretty nice naked,’ ” Thomas tells ABC News correspondent Eva Pilgrim.

Thomas goes on to say in the clip that she knew things had gone too far when the teacher kissed her.

“He grabbed my face,” she said, before adding, “It was right next to the double doors he had.”

Thomas said she was 15 at the time, and had not really had a boyfriend because she was homeschooled.

She said she didn’t tell anyone about the kiss.

“I was scared,” Thomas told ABC. “I don’t want to tell my parent that a grown man kissed me and I don’t want to tell friends that a grown man kissed me, because I don’t like the spotlight being on me.”

The new clip from Thomas’ interview — which is a minute and 15 seconds long — is the first video to be released ahead of the upcoming episode of “20/20,” which airs Friday night.

Thomas was found by authorities in Northern California last April, 38 days after she went missing in Tennessee. Cummins was arrested and pleaded guilty earlier this year to taking a minor across state lines for sex, as well as to obstructing justice.
