Donald Trump Jr. says his father can't trust many around him after the anonymous NYT op-ed

Donald Trump Jr. says the number of people his father can trust in the White House is smaller than he would like.

His statement while speaking on ABC’s Good Morning America comes after a New York Times op-ed that blasted the President and was allegedly written by an anonymous top White House Official.

The op-ed described a group of aides close to the president working actively against him and his agenda.

Trump Jr. said he thinks the article was written by a quote “low level person,” also saying the Justice Department should investigate.

After being asked if any laws were broken he said, “Listen, I think you're subverting the will of the people. I mean, to try to control the presidency while not the president. You have millions and millions of Americans who voted for this.”

When asked about the about Special Counsel Robert Mueller looking into his meeting with a Russian lawyer promising dirt on Hillary Clinton, he said he is not worried because he knows what he did.

He also said that he never spoke to his father about the meeting, despite reports saying president Trump knew of the meeting in advance.
