Melania Trump reportedly refused to go on TV with her husband after the 'Access Hollywood' tape

The infamous “Access Hollywood” tape was a low point for the Trump campaign in 2016.

The soon-to-be president was “And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything, you can do anything. Grab them by the p****. You can do anything.”

According to Bob Woodward’s new upcoming book, First Lady Melania Trump refused to go on TV with her husband after the tape was released.

An excerpt from the book was published by The Guardian on Wednesday and in it, the First Lady said quote, “Not doing that. No way. No, no, no.”

At the time of the release, Melania issued a statement saying the language was offensive but did not, “represent the man that I know.”

Meanwhile, the President recently has called into question the validity of the tape arguing the leaking of it was possibly illegal.

The book, “Fear: Trump in the White House” has already set fire inside the Trump inner circle and is set to hit stores on September 11th.
