The UFC lightweight bout between champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor slated for October 6 is expected to be one of the biggest tickets in MMA history.

With all the attention pointed his way, Nurmagomedov chose a bad time to post his buffoonery on social media.

Khabib Nurmagomedov posts video mocking homeless

Nurmagomedov recently posted video of his cousin and fellow MMA fighter Abubakar Nurmagomedov degrading what appear to be homeless people on the streets.

Where the video takes place isn’t clear, but what is apparent is Khabib’s cousin paying homeless men to perform pushups as Khabib laughs behind the camera.

At one point, Abubakar holds out cash for a man before snatching it back and demanding that he perform more. It’s middle-school bully level stuff.

Khabib deleted the post, but not before The MMA Bible was able to capture the video for its Twitter feed.

MMA community critical of Nurmagomedov’s video

The response from the MMA community has been critical.

Belgian UFC fighter Cindy Dandois said the scene “pains my heart.”

British bantamweight Nathaniel Wood had a similar reaction.

Swedish UFC middleweight Jack Hermansson called the behavior “disgusting.”

Judging by his removal of the video, Khabib probably isn’t feeling too good about his behavior in the video either.
