Comey tweets a church message after President Trump’s tweet on LeBron James

Former FBI Director James Comey posted a tweet on Saturday in an apparent jab at President Trump, who attacked the basketball star LeBron James on Twitter Friday night.

“Good reminder today of this golden rule,” Comey wrote, along with posting an image of a church sign.

The church’s message noted, “tweet others as you would be tweeted.”

Hours prior, Trump had tweeted: “Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!”

Comey, who was fired by Trump in May 2017, has been a vocal critic of the president.

“This was the day an American president stood on foreign soil next to a murderous lying thug and refused to back his own country,” Comey tweeted last month after Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki. “Patriots need to stand up and reject the behavior of this president.”
