Photos of the week: 7/20 - 7/27

A fast-growing wildfire in northern California killed at least two people and forced thousands of others to flee this week. High winds caused the flames to jump across the Sacramento River and created fire tornadoes. The blaze in Redding killed a bulldozer operator on Thursday and a member of the Redding Fire Department on Friday. Further south, a 32-year-old man was charged with starting the Cranston Fire, which charred more than 11,500 acres.

Other major headlines of the week included President Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame being vandalized, Facebook experiencing the biggest single-day drop in U.S. stock market history and singer Demi Lovato being hospitalized after an apparent overdose.
