Antonio Brown outdoes himself again, shows up to training camp in a helicopter

To say it’s good to be Antonio Brown would be a massive understatement.

The Steelers star wide receiver, who graces the cover of this year’s Madden game, arrived for training with his family via helicopter on Wednesday.

Brown is making $17 million per year

Last year Brown showed up to training camp in the backseat of a 1931 Rolls-Royce Phantom, but a helicopter upstages that by a wide margin. He’s not the first to go this route, though. Former Colts star wideout Reggie Wayne arrived via helicopter in 2013, too.

Brown, 30, has led the league in receiving yards and catches in two of the last four seasons. He’s the highest-paid non-quarterback offensive player in the league after signing a four-year, $68-million extension last offseason.

It’s a big year for the Steelers considering quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s age and running back Le’Veon Bell’s contract situation. Brown has been the league’s best and most consistent wideout over the past few years, though, and his arrival is one fit for a superstar.

Vince Williams also showed up in style

While it wasn’t quite a helicopter, Steelers linebacker Vince Williams also showed up in style, paying homage to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. The 28-year-old had a personalized “Williams” vest in a similar style to Austin’s iconic look, and he carried in a big WWE-esque belt in his left hand. He looks ready to go.

If the Steelers can play as well as they arrive to training camp, they should be in good shape this season.
