Joe Biden says he's ‘ashamed’ of Trump's border policy

Former Vice President Joe Biden says he’s ‘ashamed’ of Trump’s immigration policy that led to a national scandal over the separation of migrant children and parents at the border.

Speaking on the “Anger Management with Rick Clegg” Podcast, he said: "It makes me feel ashamed. I really mean it," I'm proud of the response of the American people — Democrat and Republican. This is not America. This is not who we are."

Last week, the Trump administration said it would start the process to reunify thousands of migrant children with their families.

Biden’s comments come amid a report that he’ll be hitting the campaign trail for Democrats after Labor Day.

According to the New York Times, the 75-year-old Biden will be a presence on the trail for Democrats as he continues to decide whether he’ll run for president in 2020.

If he does, he’ll join a field which is rumored to include Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Kamala Harris.
