Sixers to meet with LeBron James' agent Sunday: Report

Could LeBron be heading to Philly?

Fresh off a tremendous postseason, LeBron James’ agent is meeting with the Sixers’ ownership Sunday, according to an ESPN report.

Philadelphia is capable of signing The King to a max salary contract, worth $35.6 million annually, and bringing him to the Sixers would pair him with a young and talented team.

James, of course, will now be a free agent after informing the Cavaliers Friday that he will not opt into the final year of his contract with Cleveland.

However, the Cavaliers having the advantage of being able to offer the largest contract of any team in the league: Cleveland can give James a $205 million, five-year deal while other teams, including the 76ers and Lakers, can only offer $152 million over four years.
