BACK TO SLIDE

President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met for a historic summit in Singapore this week. The two signed an agreement to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. Trump accepted Kim's invitation to visit North Korea and also extended a White House invitation to the isolated nation's leader, according to KCNA. 

Other major headlines of the week included Attorney General Jeff Sessions limiting asylum for domestic violence victims, the one-year anniversary of the deadly Grenfell Tower fire in London and the release of the Justice Department's internal watchdog report about the FBI's decision on the Clinton email probe.
