4 'beautiful babies' killed during Orlando standoff identified

The four children killed in the Florida standoff were identified Tuesday, with a family representative calling them "beautiful babies" who would "never hurt anyone."

Gary Lindsey, a convicted felon on probation, killed the kids and wounded an Orlando police officer before taking his own life on Monday.

Two of the children were his, while two were thought to be his girlfriend's. They were identified on a GoFundMe page as 12-year-old Iraya, 10-year-old Lillia, 6-year-old Aidan and Dove, who was just 1.

"Her boyfriend was the father of two of the children and selfishly took the lives of these precious innocent angels and then took his own life," Walter Benenati wrote on the GoFundMe page.

Benenati is raising money for funeral expenses and is helping the mother who lost two kids "get on her feet," according to the fundraising page.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer expressed his condolences, tweeting early Tuesday that "our hearts go out to the family of the children and the law enforcement officers who worked tirelessly to bring this standoff to a peaceful conclusion."

The bodies of the children were found late Monday following the 21-hour standoff. Lindsey's body was found in a closet in the Orlando home.

Officer Kevin Valencia was shot late Sunday night while responding to a domestic violence call from Lindsey's girlfriend. He is recovering after surgery.

The fundraising page for the family has raised $3,000 in just a few hours.
