Report: Trump may offer to host second summit with Kim Jong Un at Mar-a-Lago

President Trump is reportedly thinking about hosting North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, reports Bloomberg.

According to the media outlet, the invitation would be for a follow-up meeting to the upcoming summit in Singapore and would only take place if talks there go well.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders announced on Tuesday that the first round of talks is scheduled to begin on June 12 at the Capella Hotel, which is located on Singapore’s Sentosa Island.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports that meetings may also be held on June 13, should the first day go well.

Security is expected to be exceptionally tight, and, according to the Wall Street Journal, “Singapore’s defense minister told reporters over the weekend that the city-state was willing to bear some logistical and security costs.”
