New book: Hillary Clinton's 'A--covering' on Bin Laden raid 'rattled Biden'

Former Vice President Joe Biden is again speaking out against Hillary Clinton about her time as Secretary of State.

According to the Hill, a new book "First in Line: Presidents, Vice Presidents and the Pursuit of Power" by Kate Andersen Brower, gets to the bottom of what really happened in the situation room back in 2011 as President Barack Obama prepared for the Osama Bin Laden raid.

During Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign she claimed that she fully supported President Obama’s decision to order the Navy SEAL raid that would eliminate the Al Qaeda leader. She was then Secretary of State. According to the book, this apparently ‘rattled’ Biden.

An anonymous aide to Biden told the author: “The a** covering, opportunistic version really rattled him.”

Biden advised against the raid and David Axelrod, a former senior adviser to Obama, added “My sense is that Clinton was not sold on the idea either.”
