New 2020 poll has Trump gaining on Democrats

According to a new survey from Zogby Analytics, the gap between President Trump and leading Democrats including former Vice President Joe Biden and Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders has tightened.

According to the Washington Examiner, Biden’s lead has dropped 5 points, now making it 48 percent to 38 percent.

President Trump’s base and key groups such as Walmart shoppers and NASCAR fans are driving his numbers forward.

Trump is also making small gains with key Democratic groups such as millennials, Generation Z, independents and women.

However, Biden is giving the president a run with some of his biggest supporters, including those who frequently shop at Walmart and Americans with no college education.

The Examiner also reports that unlikely 2020 candidate Oprah Winfrey leads Trump 53 percent to 47 percent while former first lady Michelle Obama leads him by 48 percent to 39 percent.

Top Trump aide Stephen Miller said that the poll numbers are definitely better today than they were on election day, and they are very optimistic.
