Rudy Giuliani implies Obama was aware of FBI spy in Trump campaign

Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s lawyer, says former President Obama and his top officials used the FBI to spy on Trump’s campaign.

In a radio show interview, Giuliani said former CIA Director John Brennan and former National Intelligence Director James Clapper were both aware of a spy within the Trump camp, and that Brennan briefed then-President Obama daily.

According to the Hill, despite having no evidence, the Trump Administration says the FBI put an informant in his 2016 campaign for political reasons.

Brennan and Clapper say the FBI was trying to ascertain the role Russia was playing in the presidential election.
