1 dead, 3 police officers taken to hospital in hazmat situation in Georgia

Three police officers were taken to the hospital after they responded to reports of a dead body in a hotel room in DeKalb, Georgia.

The DeKalb County officers entered a room at the United Inn & Suites, where a chemical agent was present, according to a DeKalb County Police Department spokesperson, CBS 46 reported.

The officers started to feel sick and hazmat and EMS responded to the scene.

Emergency crews evacuated the third floor of the hotel on suspicion of a hazardous material.
