Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani said on FOX News this week that the president repaid Michael Cohen for a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels. The former New York City mayor's statement contradicts Trump's previous denial of covering the cost of the agreement. Giuliani later issued a statement to "clarify the views [he] expressed over the past few days." The president told the press that Giuliani just started his new position and that "he'll get his facts straight."

Other major headlines of the week included Kilauea volcano on Hawaii's Big Island erupting, 27 additional women coming forward to accuse Charlie Rose of sexual misconduct and the CDC reporting the first death from the E. coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce.
