Twitter roasts Trump over claim he dictated his own glowing doctor's note

Back in 2015, when a then-candidate Donald Trump dramatically unveiled his glowing doctor’s note “unequivocally” declaring he’d be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency,” many noted the Trumpian language. Well, according to Trump’s longtime physician Dr. Harold Bornstein, that’s because Trump actually wrote it.

Trump’s doctor of 35 years told CNN, "He dictated that whole letter. I didn't write that letter. I just made it up as I went along."

News the letter which called Trump’s physical strength and stamina “extraordinary” actually came from the president himself, setting the internet ablaze.

Preet Bharara tweeting, “Back soon. Just dictating letter for my doctor touting my x-ray vision, bullet-proof skin and natural immunity to iocane powder.”

One writer for The Atlantic wondering what the “Right’s” reaction would have been had Hillary Clinton or President Obama done the same.

Another wrote, “So @realDonaldTrump has Dr Spaceman for his doctor and Saul Goodman for his lawyer. Honestly could not make this stuff up!”

MoveOn.org’s director called Trump a genius. He’s “figured out you can give yourself perfect health just by dictating your dream prognosis to your doctor."

The bizarre turn of events comes as Bornstein revealed to NBC News Trump’s associates raided his office, seizing his medical files after he disclosed to The New York Times the president had been prescribed hair growth medicine.
