Does James Comey have a nickname for Trump?

President Trump has used a number of nicknames for James Comey and the former FBI director was asked during a CNN town hall on Wednesday if he has any for the president.

“I don’t have a nickname for him,” Comey replied. “Honestly, I call him the President of the United States because I respect the office.”

In recent times, Trump has referred to Comey as “Slippery James Comey” and “Shady James Comey.”

He’s also described him as an “untruthful slimeball,” and said that “it was my great honor to fire James Comey!”

Notably, while Comey doesn’t have a nickname for Trump, he did describe him unfavorably in his new book ‘A Higher Loyalty,’ writing that Trump is “unethical, and untethered to truth,” and compared him to a mafia boss.

Comey was abruptly fired by Trump in May of last year.
