Chicago White Sox pitcher Danny Farquhar remains hospitalized after collapsing in the dugout during a game this weekend due to a ruptured aneurysm in his brain. Here is the latest on his condition.
White Sox team president Kenny Williams told USA Today on Sunday that the 31-year-old Farquhar is in “the fight of his life” after he was rushed to the hospital on Friday night. He had another surgery Saturday night, which the White Sox said was successful.
In the latest update, the team said Farquhar is “progressing well” following the latest procedure. He remains in the ICU unit at RUSH University Medical Center in critical, but stable condition.
