Hours after the surfacing of many unflattering comments in James Comey’s new book, “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, And Leadership,” President Trump took to Twitter and lashed out at the former FBI Director.
“James Comey is a proven LEAKER & LIAR. Virtually everyone in Washington thought he should be fired for the terrible job he did-until he was, in fact, fired,” Trump tweeted. “He leaked CLASSIFIED information, for which he should be prosecuted.”

While Comey’s book is scheduled to be released on April 17, leaked transcripts reveal that he describes Trump as “untethered to truth” and compares him to a mafia boss.
Comey was abruptly fired by Trump in May of last year.
