Reporter who asked about Trump 'stepping down' says she’s been receiving death threats

April Ryan, the reporter who recently asked White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders if President Trump has considered stepping down, says she’s been receiving death threats.

Ryan, the White House correspondent for American Urban Radio, disclosed that information during a Wednesday appearance on CNN.

“I’ve been getting death threats and we’ve been calling the FBI…I asked a simple question,” she said, in part. “I did not point a finger…and now my life is in jeopardy…but I’m going to continue to do my job.”

Ryan’s question to Sanders was, “With all of this turmoil, particularly last week, has the president at any time thought about stepping down before or now?”

Sanders was quick to respond, saying, “I think that’s an absolutely ridiculous question.”
