Larry Kudlow suggests Mark Zuckerberg stop with the 'phony baloney…hoodies and dungarees'

President Trump’s economic adviser Larry Kudlow offered Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg a bit of image advice for his upcoming appearances on Capitol Hill, reports Mediaite.

“Is he going to behave like an adult? As a major corporate leader? Or give me this phony boloney, what is it, hoodies and dungarees? What is that?” Kudlow said to reporters gathered at the White House on Monday.

“I think I could help him clean up his act,” he further noted.

Zuckerberg does, indeed, appear to have a fondness for hoodies and dungarees, which are commonly known as jeans.

Nonetheless, he was wearing a suit on Monday as he attended various meetings in Washington, D.C.

The Hill notes that in the wake of revelations about how Facebook handled user data in regard to political campaigns, Zuckerberg will testify before the combined Senate Judiciary and Commerce committees on Tuesday and before the House Energy and Commerce Committee on Wednesday.

According to the Washington Post, on Wednesday, he is expected to tell lawmakers, “It’s clear now that we didn’t do enough to prevent these tools from being used for harm as well…We didn’t take a broad enough view of our responsibility, and that was a big mistake. It was my mistake, and I’m sorry.”
