Stormy Daniels’ lawyer on Saturday teased a “major announcement” about the person who allegedly threatened the former porn star over her rumored relationship with President Trump.
Michael Avenatti vowed news regarding “the thug who threatened Ms. Clifford” would be coming within the next several days in a tweet just before 9 a.m.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, claimed in a recent 60 Minutes interview that a man attempted to intimidate her into silence about alleged tryst while she was with her daughter in Las Vegas back in 2011.
“Leave Trump alone. Forget the story,” he supposedly told her. “That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame is something happened to her mom.”
She said she never saw the man again, but added she would be able to identify him should she have the chance.
Expect a major announcement in the coming days regarding our efforts to identify the thug who threatened Ms. Clifford in Las Vegas in 2011 to “leave Trump alone” while making reference to her little girl. You can run but you can’t hide. #thugsearch#seriousconsequences#basta

Daniels was thrust into the spotlight earlier this year when it was revealed Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, paid her $130,000 to keep quiet about her alleged affair.
Trump on Friday denied he knew about the hush money, marking the first time he has publicly acknowledged the scandal.
The former adult actress has said she and the President had an extramarital affair in 2006 after meeting at a golf tournament. His wife, Melania, was pregnant with their son Barron at the time.
