Controversial New York Magazine cover depicts Trump as a pig

New York Magazine is taking aim at President Trump -- depicting him as a pig.

For the April 2nd issue, the brash publication declares, "Not Collusion... Not Incompetence... Not Cruelty... It's the Corruption, Stupid. Why His Self-Dealing is His Biggest Political Liability.”

The cover story entitled, "Corruption, Not Russia, Is Trump's Greatest Political Liability," argues it’s Trump’s decision to hand over his business to his sons as well as his political appointees which scream corruption.

Jonathan Chait writes, "Not only has Trump made no effort to raise ethical standards but he and his administration have flamboyantly violated the existing guidelines. Lobbyists are seeded in every agency, 'regulating' their former employers and designing rules that favor bosses over employees and business owners over consumers."

The scathing article comes as special counsel Robert Mueller is said to be zeroing in on Trump’s business as the latest area of scrutiny.

Meanwhile, Trump’s son-in-law and close advisor Jared Kushner is also facing heat after it was revealed by the New York Times his family business received a $500 million dollar loan after holding meetings with those companies.
