President Trump reportedly telling aides he wants Rob Porter back

We’ve seen plenty of exits from the White House, but could one of these many faces make their return?

The New York Times reports Rob Porter could become a familiar face once again. President Trump has been keeping in touch with Porter since he resigned last month amid scandal over allegations of domestic abuse from his two ex-wives.

The former staff secretary has reportedly held multiple phone calls with Trump, while a white house official dishes Trump says he misses the structure that Porter brought to his job.

Trump was a staunch defender of Porter leading up to his resignation.

At the time, Porter had been dating Hope Hicks, Trump’s communications director who left days after Porter’s departure.

But Porter’s return could present a problem for Chief of Staff John Kelly, who faced major backlash for reportedly knowing about the past allegations of domestic abuse.
