Disturbing new details revealed in 'extreme DUI' arrest of ex-MLB star Albert Belle
If you thought the case of ex-MLB All-Star Albert Belle getting arrested Saturday for indecent exposure and “extreme DUI” couldn’t get any weirder, you’d be wrong. Because now we’ve learned new details in Belle’s arrest and they are beyond extreme — they’re disturbing.

According to a police report obtained by Matt Rodewald at Fox 10 in Phoenix, Belle’s arrest stems from an incident where he’s alleged to have been caught urinating next to a car by the car’s owner. When confronted, Belle shook his genitals at the man who owned the car and his 15-year-old daughter.

According to the police report, Belle was arrested in the parking lot at Phoenix Rising Stadium, where Phoenix’s professional soccer team plays. He was released Sunday.
Belle, 51, played 12 years in MLB, mostly with the Cleveland Indians, and hit 381 homers. He had his share of controversy in his playing days — he was caught using a corked bat in 1994 and famously leveled Fernando Viña on the basepaths. He also sought treatment for alcohol abuse in 1990.
No word yet on when Belle is due in court to face these charges.
