President Trump changes motorcade route to avoid anti-gun marchers in Florida

President Trump’s motorcade changed routes seeking to avoid the anti-gun protesters gathered in March For Our Lives.

Trump was seen earlier Saturday morning heading to his Golf Club in West Palm Beach but on his way back, his motorcade took a longer route than typically used looking to ignore the hundreds gathered to end gun violence.

All around the U.S. people gathered for the March for Our Lives that as organized in response to a deadly shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida.

Some of the largest protests took place in Washington, Chicago, New York and other major cities.

Trump avoided meeting the one taking place in West Palm Beach that was strategically positioned to get his attention.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, the marchers gathered at Dreher Park Saturday afternoon before heading east towards Mar-a-Lago.

Another 800 events were held around the world for the same cause. The president himself did not address the rallies.
