Chopper carrying Ivanka, Jared Kushner lands after engine failure

A NYC-bound helicopter carrying Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner was forced to return to a Washington D.C.-area airport last week due to engine failure, according to a report Sunday.

The chopper landed at Ronald Reagan National Airport shortly after takeoff Thursday afternoon, CNN reported.

President Trump’s daughter and her husband, who also works as a senior adviser in the White House, reportedly caught a commercial flight to Manhattan instead.

The type of helicopter Trump and Kushner were flying, and the reason for their Big Apple visit, was not immediately known.

A member of their security detail was also on the flight, the report stated.
