Oklahoma, with freshman phenom Trae Young, was the biggest name on the bubble, and also one of the most divisive. The Sooners were a top-10 team two months ago. They lost 11 of their last 15 games, but had a full résumé worthy of a bid.

The biggest surprise inclusion in the field was Syracuse. Most bubble projections had the Orange out, and not even among the first four out.

USC was the biggest snub. The Trojans got to the final of the Pac-12 tournament, but were left out while conference foes UCLA and Arizona State made it.

Below is the complete list of March Madness participants. This page will be updated with the full bracket as soon as it is released.
