New poll shows Americans trust Robert Mueller more than President Trump on Russia

President Trump went on a Twitter tirade Tuesday morning, calling the Russia Investigation a "witch hunt!" once again and claiming "no evidence of collusion."

But a newly released poll shows Americans trust more in special counsel Robert Mueller than President Trump when it comes to Russia.

The USA Today/Suffolk University poll was taken after 13 Russian nationals were indicted.

It found that 58 percent of voters have some or a lot of trust in special counsel Mueller’s investigation, while 57 percent of voters have little to no trust in the president’s dismissal of claims there was Russian collusion.

Almost 70 percent of the people polled believe that Russia made deliberate efforts to interfere with the 2016 election, with 42 percent saying it did affect the election’s outcome and 44 percent saying it had no impact.

Trump has attacked Mueller’s investigation multiple times, stating there was no collusion with Russia and daughter and senior White House adviser Ivanka Trump told NBC News that while “there was no collusion” she believes that Mueller’s investigation will be fair and “reach that same conclusion.”
