Video shows Nikolas Cruz in 2016 fight at Parkland high school
Florida gunman Nikolas Cruz was previously involved in a fight at the high school he’s accused of shooting up this week, a new cellphone video shows.
The Sept. 20, 2016, recording shows a student identified as Cruz scuffle with several classmates at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
Cruz, wearing a white t-shirt and khaki pants, is seen throwing his arms and pushing the students in the short recording, which was obtained by local ABC affiliate WPLG.
He’s seen being held back by one student after several others fall to the ground.

Cruz, who faces 17 counts of premeditated murder, was suspended for two days after the skirmish, the news channel reported.
It wasn’t clear why the fight broke out.
But it was one of five times the school had to discipline Cruz.
He was eventually booted to another school in February 2017.
Cruz returned to the Parkland high school last Wednesday, however, and began firing his AR-15 near the end of classes.
He was later arrested and charged with killing 17 students and teachers, injuring dozens more in the carnage.
The 19-year-old suspect was previously flagged to law enforcement, including the FBI, which last week acknowledged it didn’t follow through on warnings about Cruz.
