A Washington state man allegedly raped an 18-year-old woman while she was dying from a drug overdose drugs at a house party and then hacked her social media account to make believe she was alive.

Brian Varela, 19, was arrested Tuesday after bragging to his Dairy Queen co-workers in Snohomish County that 18-year-old Alyssa Noceda died while she was having sex with him last Saturday, the Spokesman-Review reported.

“She was just an innocent 18-year-old girl, having fun, and was taken advantage of,” said Gina Pierson, Noceda’s mother, in court Wednesday.

Noceda met Varela at a party in a mobile home Varela shared with his roommate.

He texted, “LOL I think she od’d, still breathing,” and shared photos of a semi-nude unconscious woman with swollen blue lips to a group chat, court papers say. He added he was having sex to “pass the time.”

The next morning, Varela showed his roommate the dead woman on his bed and said he needed help. The roommate told him to call 911, but Varela went to work instead, according to the newspaper.

The roommate told police he last saw Noceda alive 9 p.m. Saturday. At work, Varela reportedly boasted to his coworkers about the sex and said he planned to take her to the hospital but went to sleep because he was too tired.

After coming home, he stuffed Noceda’s body in a plastic tub and tried removing evidence, Varela told police. He then used her fingerprints to unlock her iPhone to make a Snapchat post appearing as if ran away from home.

One of Varela’s coworkers went to the police Tuesday after seeing a social media post from Noceda’s mother saying her daughter was missing.

Cops responded to the mobile home and found Noceda’s body stuffed in a crate in a room. Varela was charged with rape, manslaughter, and homicide by a controlled substance. His bail was set at $500,000.
