Trump calls Pelosi the GOP's 'secret weapon' for midterm elections

President Trump on Monday referred to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi as Republican’s “secret weapon” for midterm elections.

He made the comment while giving a speech in Ohio and brought up Pelosi’s statement about American workers getting “crumbs” compared to the hefty sums the GOP tax plan will give corporations and wealthy individuals.

Trump told the employees of a factory that makes hydraulic equipment, “Nancy Pelosi again said that’s ‘crumbs.’ Well, she’s a rich woman who lives in a big, beautiful house in California who wants to give all of your money away.”

“She’s our secret weapon. I just hope they [Democrats] don’t change her,” he further noted.

Pelosi made the “crumbs” comment weeks ago and in reference to the recently passed $1.5 trillion tax-cut legislation, according to Fox News.

“In terms of the bonus that corporate America receives versus the crumbs they are giving to workers to put the schmooze on is so pathetic,” Pelosi said.
