Ivana Trump says president wanted Ivanka to date Tom Brady

Updated

As Quarterback Tom Brady prepares for his eighth Super Bowl Sunday, President Trump’s first wife Ivana, says the President thought the future Hall of Famer would have been a great match for his daughter Ivanka.

In Ivana’s book “Raising Trump,” which was released in October of 2017, the President’s former wife claims that Trump wanted his daughter to date Brady, with Ivana writing:

"At one point, Donald wanted her to date Tom Brady, the quarterback...He said, 'You have to meet him!' But Ivanka wasn't into it."

This isn’t the first time Ivanka and Brady have been linked, with former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci saying on TMZ Live that Brady skipped the Patriots visit to the White House after winning last year’s Super Bowl at the request of his wife Gisele Bundchen.

Scaramucci also speculated that Brady may have dated Ivanka, which may have caused some jealousy on Bundchen's end. However, Brady insisted that he missed the White House visit due to family reasons.

Brady has called Trump a friend several times, with Brady having a “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker, though the quarterback has never verbally endorsed Trump. When asked about the friendship, Brady said, quote, “If you know someone, it doesn't mean that you agree with everything that they say or do. Right?"
