Donald Trump Jr. thanked Chelsea Clinton for defending Barron

Updated

Despite obvious political differences, it appears the Clintons and Trumps can agree on something, at least Chelsea and Donald Jr. can.

Chelsea Clinton recently defended Donald Jr.’s half-brother Barron after former Saturday Night Live writer Zack Bornstein made a joke on Twitter.

In the now deleted tweet, Bornstein joked about Barron being “recast” as Preston Sharp, who was Melania Trump’s State of the Union guest.

Sharp is raising money for American flags to be laid at the graves of fallen soldiers.

Clinton’s tweet defending both boys said, “Whatever our politics, I hope we can agree to both leave 11-year-old private citizen Barron Trump alone and celebrate 12-year-old Preston Sharp for his work to honor the graves of every military veteran.”

To which Donald Jr. responded, “On this we agree, Thank You.”
