Lara Trump calls Hillary Clinton’s appearance on Grammys ‘despicable’

Sunday night’s Grammy Awards included a brief and unexpected appearance by Hillary Clinton and Lara Trump, President Trump’s daughter-in-law, apparently did not enjoy it.

As part of a pre-recorded skit led by James Corden, Clinton read the passage from Michael Wolff’s ‘Fire and Fury: Inside The Trump White House,’ that focuses on the president’s fast food habits.

Lara Trump, who is married to the president’s son Eric, expressed her distaste for the segment while on Monday’s ‘Mornings with Maria,’ which airs on the Fox Business network.

“I thought it was despicable…disgusting, and quite frankly sad that Hillary Clinton obviously needs to validate herself in some way,” she said of Clinton’s participation in the awards show.

Lara Trump also appeared on Fox News’ ‘Outnumbered Overtime’ where she further commented, “If she wants to read something, maybe we could all read the 33,000 missing emails that she has somewhere that no one has heard about.”

Notably, Clinton was not the only famous person featured in the short video, which was a mock tryout to be the voice for the audio version of Wolff’s book.

Other participants included John Legend, Snoop Dogg, and Cardi B, though Clinton was the one who got the pretend gig, notes ABC News.
