Report: Broncos will try to trade CB Aqib Talib this offseason

The Denver Broncos are reportedly expected to put Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib on the trading block this offseason due to salary concerns.

Talib may represent the Broncos for the last time Sunday when he plays for the AFC in the Pro Bowl Game in Orlando, Fla., according to Mike Klis of KUSA.

Klis cites financial considerations as the reason why the Broncos will try to move Talib, who has two years left on the six-year, $57 million contract he signed in March 2014. Talib's contract calls for salaries of $11 million in 2018 and $8 million in 2019.

Talib, who will turn 32 next month, had 31 tackles and an interception return for a touchdown during the 2017 season. He has six interception returns for a touchdown since joining Denver and was selected for a fifth straight Pro Bowl this season, his fourth with the Broncos.

Talib was a key player on the Broncos' Super Bowl 50 team, and he was named first-team All Pro in 2016.
