President Trump appears to accidentally tell pro-life rally it’s wrong for children to be born

President Donald Trump appeared to flub an important part of his address at the annual March for Life rally on Friday.

In a speech broadcasted from the White House Rose Garden, the president gave his support to the anti-abortion movement he once opposed, telling thousands he's committed to building "a society where life is celebrated, protected and cherished."

But one of the president's remarks during the address seemed to raise eyebrows.

“Right now, a number of state laws allow a baby to be born from his or her mother’s womb in the ninth month. It is wrong. It has to change,” he said.

According to The Daily Beast, the president's prepared remarks had him saying “torn,” in reference to late-term abortion. Not "born."

Trump's speech marked the first time in history that a sitting president delivered an address at the event via video feed. Previous Republican presidents, including Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, addressed the annual march by phone.

And last year, Mike Pence became the highest-ranking official ever to speak in person at the event.
